Port Side- St Rose-LA

So John had to find us a place to eat we were getting "hangrey" and he was having t difficult time. Finally he found a place Port Side. We drove up to it I failed to get a picture of the outside. No Windows and a cinder block building. We did know if we wanted to stay. but we were so hungry! Well we ended up having the best meal and 73 Year old Pat was the best ! We did drink them out of beer! ( we only had two each) Pat told us that husband told the story of crawfish to there grandson. ( they were out of craw fish and sold 3000lb's of crawfish on Good Friday) So the crawfish story: Grandpa said that Craw Fish started out in Nova Scotia as Lobsters and made there way down to LA and became smaller so that is how the crawfish came to be. Down here they are called Mudbugs. That little boy got this story published in the Readers Digest! He got 25 dollars for the story!
