Mt. Erie Hike-Drive-Anacortes-WA

We were told by friends that this was a nice drive. We got to the parking lot. The drive up appears to be closed with orange cones. So we started on our hike to the top. The hike was real ,for our out of shape bodies, ok we thought we were going to die! We think from the spotty WIFI that we made it up about 1/3 the way and back down we go. When we got back to the truck we looked closer at the drive up and it was open that day. We drove up and got a wonderful view of the Puget Sound Islands.
