Built in 1873, the chapel for nun's was finished. A very big flaw was found. There was no way to get up to the Choir loft. The Nun's asked many many Architectes to help and give a quote. No one would do it stating impossible/ or would have to take it down and re-due that part of the Church. Much time went by and the Nun's prayed for an answer. One day a Man came said he would do it. They didn't even ask how much they just said please help us. This man only had a few tools and not much with him at all. After a short period of time a spiral staircase was made with no support, nails, screws, nothing....and the man left without a trace, no pay. Nun's knew it had to be St Joseph-the carpenter.
