Day One-Estes Park Evening

We walked along Estes Lake before heading to the Estes Park Memorial Observatory. The pictures we could not get of the planets and stars we saw, but all I can tell you is that was a super great Experience. In the Observatory we saw the Moon, it was crescent shaped and full of craters. We saw Saturn and it's 4 moons, two starts red and blue that looked like jewels, cluster of stars and the second star of the handle of the big dipper that is really three stars! Oh and when we were entering the parking lot we saw UP CLOSE a dear!
