Cataloochee Valley-North Carolina

We started out early to see the Elk. The Drive in the Valley is only About 10 miles but, takes about 45 minutes per the roads (loose term) are so twisted that you can only go so fast. Five mile curves and when you meet a car you may have to back up! With our pig of a truck we were scrapping some mountains. Our phones didn't post all the pictures on the Google photos so we went back two days, still no pics of the whole experience. So I may have to have someone help me post these?! UGH found the pictures at the end of all my pictures listed as 2002?? ok so will try to post now! Day 1 saw only one Head of Elk. One Bull had 20 cows! Bugling we heard three bulls! Second day same herd of 20 Cows in a different field and one small herd of 5 cows and Bull.
